Our aviation programs introduce students to various careers in a challenging and rewarding industry.
Topics include: theory of flight, aircraft design and manufacture, engine and airframe maintenance, air traffic control and aviation business management.
Students also learn the importance of soft skills including: effective communication, critical thinking, principles of leadership, business basics, quality assurance, and human performance factors.
We provide training aids and presentations to various community youth organizations.
These groups can integrate our training into their programs to provide students with a glimpse of careers in aviation and the educational and experience requirements, as well as enabling some hands-on experience with aircraft and related components.
Our programs are suitable for all youth groups including, but not limited to: Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs, Scouts Canada and others.
Through the generous support of our community partners the Foundation awards offer financial support to students enrolled in full time studies in aviation.
Our scholarships and bursaries provide needed assistance to those that qualify.
